This 40-hour course over 5 days is approved by Virginia DPOR board of contractors for the 40-hour vocational credit needed to to apply for the backflow preventer device tester tradesmen designation. Applicants with less than 7 years (but more than 4) of relevant work experience are required by DPOR to take 40 hours minimum of vocational training. This is an extended program that will cover what a preventer is, how to test them, and also include training on repair and maintenance, and in depth review of all major terms and techniques. All of our VA courses cover how to apply for and prepare for the state exam.
